Anyone else find that their feet are half on the pedals, half on the pedal stalk? Is it just something people with large feet need to deal with? Or is there an aftermarket solution?

There is a solution... but it is worse than the problem.

Pedal plate placement is designed for the pedal box package and per manufaccturer and FMVSS mandated requirements. They are designed to have the ball of your foot on the centre of the pad.. as a side note, if the plate falls off the pedal arm is designed to act as an emergency pedal lever. It may be quite jagged and small but it meets the legal redundancy requirement.

in case you haven't guessed yet, I have somewhat of a background in the topic. I need to get out more.

I also have pushed on the arm with my feet and I'm a 10.5 shoe.
